How gay is Islam?

You are complaining that gays/homosexuals "think they share a common cause". Can you give a quote from someone, or be more specific as to what gays have said regarding Muslim rights? What is the common cause, free speech? Or freedom of conscience or freedom of movement or freedom of association? There is common ground between mostly any two  groups; gays and others all abhor torture, for example. Muslims do as well. That Muslims have their beliefs doesn't mean they can't get along with others. Islam teaches and this is well known, that the greatest sin in the sight of Allah/God is Kufr or disbelief and shirk/polytheism, or joining partners with Allah/God. There are many bridges to be built, still even without the need to adopt other peoples beliefs and being a hypocrite. Muslims are most honest, and I think that does more for bridgebuilding than decieving people, such as the governments around the world do, while supposedly trying to bring peace to the world.
