Sir, David Pakman,
Are you willing to take the atheists from around the world, who claim they are being victimized?
Will Americans support opening their borders to the 'atheists' who are being systematically or otherwise brutalized?
Will David Pakman lobby the government specifically, to allow atheists from without to emigrate to America?
How will the American government determine who qualifies as a victim based on his anti-religious stances or opinions, in other words,
what sort of proof will be acceptable in case the government decides to accept 'atheist refugees'? Which atheists will be admissible?
Will there be any discrimination based on race, or country of origin?
If the answer to all of the above is not 'all are welcome'(you're not willing or able to take 'atheist refugees') then you should stop
promoting Atheism world wide.
People who are Christian are quite happy in most countries to remain Christian. They also want their children to be Christians
and raise them as such. The spread of Atheism, or the spread of anti-religion videos on You Tube, promotion of atheism within and without
western nations, is detrimental to the family values espoused by all the major religions. Family is very important to people with
children especially. It is a danger to the psychological development as well as social acceptance of the young people, when they
begin to espouse ideas or beliefs radically different to their parents, relatives, and community.
They risk everything when they decide to turn away from their previously held beliefs and adopt Atheism as a 'doctrine'.
In Bangladesh, an ex-Muslim, atheist blogger was brutally killed due to his 'coming out' as an Atheist. Not only did he promote
atheism, but he probably also wrote political articles, which would not have gone down well among the ruling Muslim government.
However, he was killed by fanatical Muslims, not by order of the government. This is one of the incidents of ex-Muslims who have been slain
over the years apparently for their rejection of Islam.
One other highly publicized case was a Pakistani woman, a wife and mother, who converted to Christianity. She was killed by the local imam,
after her conversion became public. To compound the tragedy, her children were witnesses to her 'execution style' murder.
