Who Will Defend Islam From Hate?

(This is a post I failed to publish earlier, for reasons I can't say)

WHAT DO INTELLIGENT PEOPLE THINK ABOUT ISLAM?

Should Islam be #banned ?

What about someone like, the UN Special Rapporteur To #Palestine ?
What does he say? Go to his website Transnational.org to find out...
What did he say about the Quran, for example...
Did he say, like these small-minded idiots with their channels, that Islam is evil?
Or that ppl should burn the "Koran" bc that's permitted "free speech"?

Let me ask this: when has free speech (like that) saved anyone, or changed the world for the better?
These haters of the Quran and Prophet Muhammad don't care about saving people.
If they had, they would have already been on Israel to have mercy on the Palestinians who are killed every day over there.
No, its only #Islam they want to stop, not a terrorist state like Israel.
That's too hot for them to handle... they want views not trouble!
They don't want to get #banned on Youtube or social media platforms, they don't want the ire of Zionists. They just wanna get more subscribers, more views and more anger because they can then also make their little "I react to hate comments" videos.

And because (for views) them getting "hate" is important, but Muslims anger is of no consequence.
Muslims anger, when it boils over, however, into violence will be big news. And many people, Muslims and non Muslims included, can be killed or hurt.
That probably gives them more reason to point the accusing finger at Muslims and their #religion but never do they admit their own fault in the madness.
They draw or print caricatures in the paper, then wait and see. They do this with their #stupid protests, too.
They wonder if they should "burn a Koran" or not (the purpose of which is still unclear to me; there are books of other religions that are far less humane, historically accurate  or "scientific".
These books may also tell of killing 'infidels', or promote racism, but hey, we don't see Muslims advocating burning them.
But I think we should realize that there are things which Muslims will never do that the Non believers will do.
Those haters mock Islam unashamedly and with their 'creative' outputs; they think that gives them an advantage!

But the fair minded, intelligent ppl are not fooled by your mean spirited attacks on Islam or your childish games.

There will come a day when Islam will not be the target of hate that it is today, when it can be defended in a court of law, just like the special rapporteur to Palestine wants. Because hate speech against Islam and the "Koran" isn't worth peoples lives or the damage that occurs when some 'nutters' advocate burning a holy book or drawing insults; actions which have no other purpose than to anger Muslims.

A woman like Asia Bibi has bought into the idea that her free speech is so much needed in the world, that she got herself arrested and imprisoned for 8 long years (in solitary).
Does she now realize why what she did was a total loss, and that her free speech has gained herself and the world absolutely NOTHING!?
I hope she has learned that even #freedom has its limits. Yes, you are free to change religions. Maybe not in all countries of the world. Maybe not in your country.
But your country is not going to change just because you think yourself above the law - In your heart you are whatever you believe. So, you are a Christian or a Muslim, or a Hindu or a Sikh...
But the law in #Pakistan doesn't permit hate speech against the prophet of Allah, PBUH. What made you say the things you did, Asia Bibi? Was it God or the devil!? Jesus??
As Muslims we need not react to every time something like this happens. Certainly never with violence. Permitted speech, like video reactions, a blogpost, etc are within our rights.
And why shouldn't we speak out against hate speech? Nothing is accomplished by our own anger at the stupidity of the enemies of Islam or their childish rants, hate speech or incredibly useless protests.
But maybe something will come of speaking out against hate, and the small-minded ppl with tunnel vision who only see Islam as an enemy and Muslims as less fit to rule than they themselves, although they have already proven themselves capable of terrible crimes and even human rights abuses. It is the West that used the A bomb, or bombed Germany to bits. They had no qualms about killing and maiming during the Crusades in Europe before.
Nor did they feel a lot of guilt at killing Iraqis or raping some innocent girls at the time they were in the throes of their insane occupations. Later, when wracked with guilt and PTSD, they did see the
enormity of the violence they had wrought, but too little too late, and only when it was clear that they had hurt themselves far worse (maybe?) in the process than they had hurt the "enemies" they were there to (either kill or) set free.

There will be a day when the haters come to understand that their lives have been, for the most part, an utter waste. They will come to know.

Hitchens is not very much celebrated anywhere. We don't see people embracing the past!
His shoes have been filled by the less capable and laughable, not that I ever liked Hitchens or even thought him extremely intelligent or even gave his many speeches a thorough listen. I have seen more of them over the years than I care to admit but not obsessively or with any compulsion to eradicate his kind, that would be a form of mental illness...
But that other atheists like Abdullah Sameer will now even admit that maybe there is something to redeem the Muslims... well I already know they will not be able to keep saying evil things about Islam as in the past; they have very often ignored the good that Islam brought.

They also have no proofs for what they say about the prophet Muhammad, though they will continue to say those things, thinking that people will always give ear to their obsessive rants and what they believe are very strong and "logical" arguments, that Islam permits rape, or forced marriage! Or the many other insults they hurl at Muslims daily on the internet or other forums of "free speech"!

The Ex Muslims of North America comes to mind. Please see my videos exposing the EXMNA, to know more!

Let the courts decide, I say. As we see, Muslims like the judges in Pakistan are quite capable of independent thought, and also mercy. If anything has come out of Asia Bibi's long ordeal, it isn't that Christians are victims of Islamic fundamentalists, because Muslims are also the victims of hate every day, but that some Christians are extremists! They even enjoy suffering for their religion, apparently!
Most Muslims are not evil monsters and misogynistic haters, who a minority of youtubers with their freespeech want banned from their countries, or to change, sometimes by force - such as when they demand us to change what the Quran teaches, which would mean changing the book of Allah (which is a thought/hate crime in our view).

They know they have tried, Islam has already been challenged many times, different sects popped up, and with disastrous and violent results.

It's only 'true' Islam that can stop violence and hate.

The Muslims who react violently are not the example of independent thought and mercy, but they are mobs of angry protestors and sometimes extremely violent reactionaries.
They may even kill in the name of Islam, but they are not sanctioned to do that by God!

It is up to the mullahs/imams/scholars now to preside over their own flocks and tell them what's what. Muslims for the most part will not listen to non Muslims, "the infidels", or to the people who obviously hate Islam anyway!

They need to learn Islam at the feet of their own respected teachers. Believers who will explain why violence is not a way! Islam is the middle way.
But we know that banning Islam is not going to work. Islam is not going to change to appease Islam's enemies. Those ppl who do not understand true Islam have no right to tell Muslims that Islam must change.

Like a drug addict or anyone who is 'different' or has different 'needs', Christians in Muslim societies may also find themselves feeling 'frustrated' or even 'angry' about Islam.
They are at odds with some of the societal norms, culture or religious teachings. That's life, though, isn't it, for all of us. Nowhere do all the people in society feel they are given a fair shake, or perhaps equal rights.

But those feelings do not entitle them to anything!
The fact that some people feel constrained by the system or society where they live, doesn't mean they are right to do or say what they do.

Asia Bibi is, in fact, an extremist herself. Once we realize this, the context of her 'free speech' is understood better. It is the context that is then blamed for her plight, instead of her own outward and obvious hate and religious fanaticism! Yes, Pakistan is a Muslim majority country, yes it has Sharia laws, and scholars judged her according to her vile speech, which is not freedom!
She was the cause of her own problems, when she blurted out unnecessary and wrong things, which are just her fanciful claims. Whatever hate she harbours towards Islam and Prophet Muhammad, who is not here to defend himself against vile accusations, those things we are always coming up against.
(I do not even want to know what she said, but I can imagine a few things which we are always hearing in the "conversations" online).

Ironically, Muslims are told by Apostates that we can't love someone we have never met, then it also would be (according to their logic) true that someone can't hate someone they have never met!
So why the constant attacks on the person of the prophet, his morality or his character, PBUH??
Oh, because those ppl have nothing better to do with their time than hate on Islam and Prophet Muhammad. :((

Trying to have real conversations with Muslims isn't even on their list of possibilities, though they are always promoting the lie about wanting a dialogue with Muslims, lol.
We won't catch this type of bully apologizing for their behaviour online, their Muslim baiting, etc. but we will find them creating excuses for why they should continue to bait Muslims and hate on Islam.

They say they are merely 'criticizing' Islam (lol, or critiquing the Quran, etc) but what they are doing is hate propaganda, pure and simple. We know the difference between hate and criticism.
If you criticize, you want that person to perhaps reflect, but baiting Muslims is about causing anger not having a constructive conversation.

Anyway, Islam teaches us to steer clear of their 'conversations' which are hate speech. So, maybe we should ban such people and stay away from their toxic channels and videos.

Have a different view or just an opinion you'd like to share, let me know in #comments below!

Have a nice day/evening :)

Why You Hate Prophet Muhammad

Some Reasons The Non Muslims Hate Islam - IMHO

Bc prophet Muhammad was a real person to you.

You can hate a real person, but not a fake person. You can't hate someone in a fiction story, not really.

But your burning hate for Islam and Muslims, is bc you hate their prophet Muhammad.
Or you hate Prophet Muhammad bc of your burning hate for Islam and Muslims, that also is possible.
Sometimes non Muslims say, Muhammad, did this or that evil thing.
They say he married a 9 year old. But where is their proof? It's only in Islamic sources which were preserved by Muslims.

Why don't Muslims just say that they refuse to believe that he married a 9 year old then, wouldn't that be much easier?
But most Muslims probably still believe the hadith of Bukhari, because of several reasons.

1 - They don't want to bow down to pressure from non believers.
EVEN if they have doubts.

I'm not saying this is a bad thing.

Muslims should defend the prophet, and by saying we believe Bukhari's hadith we are defending Muhammad, PBUH.

This shows our great love for Muhammad, bc we put him before we put ourselves and our so called "personal image" which is very important in this day and age.

Bc when we prefer Muhammad, PBUH to ourselves, then we are saying we agree what he did was okay. And secondly, we don't care about what non believers
say about us, that we are bad people who defend pedophilia (which is not even true anyway).

2 - Everything say on social media is recorded, and the world can judge us for our speech and actions.

Is this a problem for Muslims today, do some of us find the pressure and constant ridicule too much to bear?
Or do we lie that we don't believe such and such things, or we are ignorant so we lie and pretend we know but we love Muhammmad PBUH, or what??

We feel obligated to also defend what Muslims in the past, or others have said about the marriage of the Prophet Muhammad, to Aisha, RA.

Therefore, we are not willing to forfeit our right to defend 'child marriage' in those days. We do believe it is less relevant today, than it was in the past, that it has no impact on our present situation, because Muslims are not generally marrying underrage girls, and this is just the case.
Moreover, Muslim men are not pedophiles nor do they believe the prophet, PBUH, was one.

The most common arguments is that Aisha, RA, was old enough to marry and she was happy, so why should we care how old she was or that today ppl don't marry 9 or 10 yr olds.

We are living in the real world, which is to say we believe that history is more important than personal thoughts about what happened. You may not like something, but it is what it is.
You may think one thing about it, but the truth doesn't change just bc you hate it.

The truth doesn't care about your feelings, to steal someone else's expression... I think it was Ben Shapiro.I don't remember the exact quote... Maybe Douglas Murray also said that before him.

Anyway, we know the history of Islam, it was not filled with massacres and forced conversions.
The non believers often lie about the historical record. They also exaggerate the instances when some traitors were killed and their families enslaved.
The fact is, if the Muslims didn't kill those men or take their families captive, what would they have done to them??? It was also not as many as 800 or 900 men, imho.

The Banu Quraiza took their chances fighting the Muslims and lost! Then are we supposed to sympathize with them and not with the Muslims??
What happens to traitors today? Does America let Edward Snowden sell secrets to Russia and then let him off bc they are nice guys? NOT THAT I HAVE ANY OPINION OR EVIDENCE ABOUT EDWARD SNOWDEN, THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE.
Or does China permit drug dealers to do whatever they like in China, just because they want to make lots of money and think of themselves as legitimate business people?

                                                                                       ***
We are strong in faith and that must really bother many non Muslims which is why their attacks on Islam never cease.
They focus a lot on the life of Muhammad, pbuh, but they don't really talk about the good that Islam brought, the good that the Prophet taught, etc.
Because that makes him a real human being with a good character, who it happens, married one young girl.
He is a complex character, not a demonic one sided and flat character from a trashy novel like they want to pretend.
Sometimes they even say he never existed, like Douglas Murray and others, because they want to say Islam was made up by somebody and that Muhammad is not even mentionned in the Quran, which is another lie
they say bc they don't even read the Quran. There is a chapter called Muhammad, and there are also verses mentioning him by name.
So while Jeuss and Mary and other prophets, peace be upon them, are mentionned more than Muhammad, PBUH, but there is still an entire chapter named after him.
So, this isn't something that shows that Muslims love Prophet Jesus, peace be upon him, or respect him MORE than prophet Muhammad, but it shows that Muslims believe in all the prophets of Allah.

Another thing that non Muslims never talk about is that the prophet had a father-in-law, and Abu Bakr, RA, gave his daughter in marriage to the prophet.
That was done in those days, bc a girl's and boy's marriage is not just their decision, but it affects the families of the two.
Even boys used to get married young compared to today, but people focus on the marriage of an older man to a young girl. That's bc they hate the idea of a young girl with an older man.

They don't know that the prophet Muhammad was not a feeble old man, or that he was very healthy and good looking, so they hate that he took a young wife for himself.
But the non believers ignore the  hadiths always mention stories about his wives' jealousy and how they all loved the prophet, may Allah be pleased with them all.

CULTURAL BAGGAGE:

Culture also doesn't care about your feelings!! #fyi

That's why some ppl continue to practice FGM, even though they are hurting their own daughters (it was done by women in the past, not men)

Cultural norms and customs were attacked by Islam as evil and stopped!
That's why most Muslims in Arabia don't do #FGM to their daughters. It is only the ignorant ppl who do it! And they do it despite the evil consequences to their own daughters bc of the pressure from the
people around them!!!

There's sufficient proof Muslims are strong, we don't bow to societal pressure every time something is said about Islam.
We are strong enough in our beliefs to defend Islam and Muhammad, PBUH, even if it is detrimental to our livelihood or safety sometimes. Remember that incident at the #DAYOF FREEDOMRALLY

So, a person can't really argue that Muslims don't love the Prophet or it's just something we are saying with our mouths only, like #MimzyVidz has said in one of her videos.

If they can hate a man they say didn't even exist, then surely we can love a man we know existed!!

And surely someone who spends their entire career writing or blogging or making videos about Islam and Muhammad, is someone who has strong feelings either way, love or HATE  .

Will they say they don't hate Muhammad, yet they say he was a pedophile and a rapist or killed Jews to advance his own selfish goals, and was a warmonger? #AstaghfirAllah

They do (or do not??) hate someone they never met!?

Or are they HYPOCRITES who make videos about Islam, pretending to hate it, but they are really doing it to get more subs and more views on their channel? Which is it?

                                                                                      ***

Lastly, the non believers have a big problem with child marriage, bc they are very 'emotional' about the issue due to their cultural baggage.
They have a history of child marriage, but they also have an abysmal history (and it is a modern phenomenon) of child sexual molestation, child rape, sodomy, etc.

They also have a history of fake prophets who use their religious authority to abuse young girls or boys, too.

It isn't only the Catholic priests or Catholic Church who has done that. It is also other Christians. A Google search will easily bring up links to such stories which have happened in modern times.
So we understand why ppl are sensitive, but its no reason to hate Islam.

There are even ppl who are sincere who believe in Islam who were once child victims of sexual abuse or rape.

They did not let their personal experience (though they live with it daily) prevent them from learning about true Islam. They were not blinded by hate, like many people today who have never even suffered any injury or oppression!

The real hyppocrites are those who claim Islam is mysoginistic or a Satanic cult, but they don't speak out about the evils in their own society or the daily crimes happening to women and children.
Some non Muslims even wish that Muslim women will be raped so they can see how other rape victims suffer, or that Muslims will "keep marrying 9 year olds" so that 'everyone' will see how 'evil' Islam is.
But the reality is, those problems are largely western or European problems. Facts don't care about your feelings or your ignorant claims and prejudices!!! #morons #haters

It is the lying and hypocritical non Muslims and apostates or atheists like them, who continually make videos about Islam and Muhammad, who are evil! Let them laught at this statement if they want to, but they are not good people, and they promote divisions in society, which is also treasonous.
Well, what can we expect from ppl who defend the Banu Quraiza all the time and then cry about some "injustices" done to them by the Prophet Muhammad, according to their narrow viewpoint and skewed interpretations of history.

Plz share or #Subscribe to my blog and my channel, thankyou!

Have A Nice Day :))

THE WOMEN WHO MARRIED MUHAMMAD

REFUTATIONS 1 - SPEAKING ABOUT MUHAMMAD (PBUH)

Some things Non Muslims read that are easily understood, but which they easily misunderstand. I blame their hatred of Islam, and also their cultural bias.
I'll use explanations couched in simple language; I'm not trying to impress ppl with English, flowery language or double speak. I will merely show how non-Muslims barely scratch the surface of ISLAMIC TRADITIONS, and why rarely do they try to see the truth that is just beneath the surface. In short, why they are looking into Islam out of hate not love.

1. That prophet Muhammad raped women, is a terribly ugly thing to say, and couldn't be further from the truth.
He did not rape his women, wives, or slave girls.
Ppl will say, how do you know... I will get to that very briefly. But such ppl don't ever stop themselves from speculations and reveal evil intentions when they speak about our Holy Prophet.
They do this because they want to stop others from coming to Islam (What would be their true intention other than that). Do they want to stop Muslims from marrying girls, forced marriage or raping women? Do they care about us?
A recent comment I read suggests otherwise, and I know more and more they have the most vile and evil of motives. That individual wrote, let them "keep marrying 9 year olds" so that Islam will be "exposed".
The direct quote, found in the comments section of one (Ex Muslim) apostate's recent upload about Islam, merely proves what I have been saying, that these haters are not interested in improving the lives of women and girls in Muslim majority countries (who also profess belief in Islam, therefore are their "natural born enemies", according to their own logic)! On the contrary, comments on these channels prove that the uploaders of the videos under which such hate speech is found, are really Islamophobes. People like Marwa, aka MimzyVidz and others say they are NOT Islamophobes, but if they were interested in peace and not causing divisions, they wouldn't permit hate speech in comments!
I said recently, addressing this problem, "put your money where your mouth is." They claim that they don't hate Muslim people, but obviously they have a deep-seated hate of even women and children. Furthermore, don't they accuse us of loving pedophiles and other nonsense... that doesn't sound to me like somebody interested in friendship, or honest discourse, something Marwa and Veedu, her husband, are always on about, lol.
So we know, it's not even their highest order of business to prevent rape of minors, or even have any caring words and concern for minors!!

On the contrary, they only want to hate and promote the evil idea (and are planting this seed of hate in every mind that reads their words). They promote hate and cause pain to Muslims with their words, (blogs or uploads) because they are themselves far from good people. They are far from peace-loving, generous, or kind hearted!!!
Furthermore, they don't understand what they are reading. Their faculties are blinded by their own malice and lack of critical thinking besides!
That there are more likely than not also many Muslims who promote hate, entertain #hatespeech and use their #freespeech to cause problems between different groups, doesn't justify this hypocrisy by the #atheists and #ExMuslim community. In fact, if they would not promote hate, most of the hate directed at them would also dissipate, and we could have actual conversations - not me personally, because I'm not a person who likes to debate #tbh and prefer to write blogposts and to make videos (another interest of mine which I do to exercise my #freedom and promote peace, which is my real and only aim) While the majority of Muslims don't make videos, they do comment and share videos and posts. I hope they will also begin to answer to hate with more love.

We can't have dawah be all about views and how many subscribers we have! It helps to have drama and more subscribers, but even more important to spread the word, the peaceful message of Islam is honesty, and hard work. We have always had an uphill battle, since the fall of the Islamic Empire, when the world saw the end of the Caliphate. But that doesn't mean Islam is any less true today than it was in 630 AC/CE.

                                                                       ********

My first example is a woman who married the Prophet (PBUH) but was then immediately sent her to her people.
Some non Muslims will argue, maybe she was forced to marry him, like they do with other of the stories of his wives - who they think were either too young, like Aisha RA, or beautiful
like Zaynab bint Jahsh, RA, or nobel, like Saffiya, RA, May Allah be pleased with them. And so on. Also the slave woman, who was a gift to him from a disbelieving ruler at the time.
She was an Egyptian Copt, called Maria.
But you will not hear them complain that the prophet (PBUH) married an old woman, like Sauda, RA, who was a God fearing and excellent Muslim woman - may Allah be pleased with her
and all of the "mothers of the believers". Though she was from an important tribe and respected, too, we rarely hear anything about her from the non Muslims because they don't care about the Prophet's marriages to older women, or women of nobility if they were not also young women, his cousin or a (so- called) 'former slave woman'.

Maria Al Copt is the centre-piece of one apostate's video, which I have avoided until now. In truth, it pains me to watch videos that hate on Islam or the Prophet Muhammad. I only do it so I can refute
their erroneous claims, and to expose their obvious lack of #logic and their extreme hatred and hypocrisy. It's to be noted that like other YouTubers, they upload videos with similar themes at the same time. However, unlike other You Tubers, they will not say anything that is original, EVER!! It is the "same old, same old" - illogical statements, lies, deceit and filth that we read or hear from all the other anti Islam writers, bloggers, vloggers or Youtubers. It's a shame they cannot hear or see. They are intellectually and morally decrepit.

One story is enough to illustrate the character and morals of the prophet, and how his love of Allah is foremost at all times. He was the most God fearing and knew Allah better than anyone, in his own words. Others also knew him to be persevering, patient, kind, generous, manly, honorable and chaste.
He was recently married to a woman of Jauna, a tribe or clan. When she was preparing to go to the Prophet after their marriage contract had already been completed, some women advised her to say some words (they promised her would cause him to like her). This is all we know from the hadith, there's no indication she hated him and did this out of hate, or to avoid being his bride (or consummating the marriage). We only know what is mentionned in the hadith, so we won't try to imagine other scenarios, like the speculation practiced by others who read the texts with less than sincere motivations to learn about Islam.

She was with Muhammad, PBUH, in privacy, when he approached her. Then it was that she said,
"I seek Allah's protection from you". Obviously, this is a situation where she had the choice earlier to refuse marriage to the Prophet PBUH, but she never did; in fact she was eagerly preparing to go to him, and even took the advice of those women... meaning that she wanted to be more desirable to him, PBUH.
Unfortunately for her the advice was wrong, and came from (possibly) ill intentioned women - who knew that the prophet was very true to his Lord - intending to derail her honeymoon plans! They also knew words that would really end it for this poor bride, who was really unfortunate and disappointed. This is why she is known as 'the most disappointed bride!'
It's obvious that she wanted to marry the Prophet, and that she did everything she could do as a woman, to make herself beloved. She prepared herself for her first night of lovemaking, and wanted to be more desirable by repeating the words she was taught, which obviously had the opposite effect. Why did the prophet Muhammad not ask her to take back the words... Why was he not angry and hit her. He must have also been disappointed, but we don't know anything for certain, except the events we read in the hadith, and the end result. She was sent home and given some gifts on her way out.

If Muhammad was really a bad person, he would not have prevented himself from clutching her, and forcing her to bend to his will. But in reality, the words she said have a clear and great meaning and impact upon him. Because he is man of God, of the holiest men of God and would never have wanted to do that. He said," Indeed, it is Allah whose help should be sought"! He had no reservations about sending his new bride away, though it was disappointing to her. And when he bid her farewell, the sudden shock and sadness must have also showed on her face. She must have cried aloud, too! There are greater tragedies in life, the death of parents, or children. But it is indeed something when one's object of love refuses or abandons them, even if it was for a good reason!

2. Some more points to ponder which help us know the intent and motives of women in those days:
A woman liked to marry a strong, or wealthy person. While the prophet was already in his fifties when he married Sauda and Aisha, and married several other women after them... there's no indication he was weak, or had any major illnesses.
There's no reason to believe he didn't live a healthy lifestyle, he was energetic, would walk faster than younger men who were walking with him. This is from the hadiths, again. They said he seemed to walk like he was leaning forward, and his pace was faster than theirs. The pathways he travelled even had the scent of his musk. If someone shook his hand, it left the scent of musk behind. This is no ordinanry person who was swift and easy like the wind and parfumed the corridors and bi-ways with his natural scent. His sweat was like parfume, and he never smelled bad. He also disliked bad smelling things, even garlic and onions.

Other times we read, that he was courageous, and more brave than anyone. He was the first on the scene when there was an alarm! We also read this in the hadiths. When the prophet heard something
outside and went to investigate, by the time others came to also investigate he was riding back on his horse with his sword and reported that evertyhing seemed to be peaceful.
It's said that he had less than twenty gray hairs in his hair and beard when he died.
In his defence, there are women today who marry older men, and it's usually rumoured they do it for money. There is no problem really in marrying for money, as long as the two people are willing to love and respect each other. For a man, the important thing is that his wife doesn't disrespect him or refuse to go to bed with him. If she were to do either of these the marriage would quickly fall apart. That she spends his wealth, asks for lavish gifts and so on, might not even be an issue with many of these wealthy men.

It's only others who always judge people and their intentions that have a problem with women marrying for money. But how many of us complain about how we would like to have more things, to live the 'good life' and live in ease without the need to worry about money. Many people are well off financially, but still they would like to have more of everything they desire in life.
This is the case, despite that we know, even the wealthy ones are not generally the most happy. But this doesn't mean that it's inherently evil to want nice things, or even to marry into wealth.
The wellknown host of Late Night show and comedian, David Letterman, married a woman much younger than him. They even had a young son when he was already in his 70s.
As for health and beauty, it's well known that ppl always mention how the Asian people age very well, but it was even more true of the Prophet, PBUH, and why not.
He was considered the most handsome of his peoople, in fact. Again, plz read hadiths or ask ppl with knowledge. The characteristics, personality, and life of Muhammad, PBUH, are in fact quite well known to all scholars and students of Islam.
It is only the lying 'devils' from among the non believers, and ignorant people (including some Muslims) who never investigate such matters that are both truthful and well known. Despite our knowledge and straightforward words and examples, which are in the thousands or tens of
thousands! and reach everywhere today via the internet and social media, the lies and false arguments still hold sway in many peoples's minds, despite Muslims' collective efforts, and the encouraging words of many honest non Muslims.
The haters say many things that are the complete opposite of the truth, in fact they do it all the time, and they have made it their mission to disparage the Holy Messenger Muhammad, and his
companions, as well as all Muslims - bc they accuse every Muslim man of some evil or other, and even are accusing all Muslims, men and women of accepting evil things which they claim and have no
right. They accuse us of defending pedophilia, but who are the real pedophiles... the western and european ppl are counted as the ones most likely to have this mental disease, who desire young girls or boys and commit sexual crimes and indecency against children, including rape and murder.
Then is Aisha, RA, the youngest wife of the prophet Muhammad. In her own words, she was most happy, and also had a woman's natural jealousy when it came to her husband, the Messenger of Allah.
She knew her status as the wife of the Prophet was her finest honor. It happened that her role was of a counsellor for the women and a fount of knowledge for the Ummah, in her later years.
Most of the discussions centre on her marriage life. Early on, she was the much cherished young wife of Muhammad, may Allah be pleased with her.
She knew that she was preferred above his other women, including her rivals, the other young and comely wives in his households, such as Hafsa, Safiyya, or Juhairiya for example.
A hadith tells that the Muhammad, PBUH, gave an example of his love for her; she was to him preferred above other women as 'tharid', a kind of banquet food or lovely meal in those days, is compared to other foods.
She reportedly said, she wished that she could be bitten by a poisonous pest (so that she could die) when she became so overwhelmed by feelings for him and melancholy, when she was parted from him for some time.
If anyone argues she said those words bc she wanted to die, because she hated the Prophet, PBUH, then they are desperately trying to argue nonsensical things that have no basis in textual evidence at all.
                                                                                        *

They often say that Saffiya, another of the wives of Muhammad, may Allah be pleased with her, was forced into marriage, and as a captive had no choice. The proof is in the pudding, or as we know, in the textual evidence, because we have nothing else anymore, apart from the Glorious Quran, by which to investigate the truth of past matters.

Saffiya was from the line of prophet Harun (Aaron). She was a jewess, and also noble. She had heard about the prophet as a young girl, from things said by her father and uncles, all enemies of the holy Prophet. Did she not wonder at this man, who claimed prophethood, while she herself was a descendant of a prophet! It must have stirred her curiousity, to say the least. Did she express any anger or resentment, in any of the hadiths... we don't know anything more or less than what the narrations tell us. She was married. Her husband was killed - people say, without evidence, that she loved him greatly. That's all a matter of speculation, and despite her recent tragedy - the death of a husband and her support, we presume - and her capture after a battle lost by her people - she was not against marrying the Prophet Muhammad after her 'idda' was completed! Allah knows best!

Some recent comments on Youtube have suggested, as #MimzyVidz does, that Saffiya was raped! This is not only a great blasphemy but disrepects the memory of a noble woman!
It is also very easy to counter argue. In the story, two women are of the captured that were to enter the household of Muhammad, either as slave women or as wives. The companions wondered if Saffiya would be his wife or a slave woman (what the right hand posesses).
When they saw her covered they knew she was Muhammad's wife.

The other woman, who is easily dismissed bc she did not become his slave woman, or his wife either, obviously detested to be with him, or she feared him. Perhaps the Christians or Jews were circling about rumours that he was a tyrant and oppressive to women folk. But this doesnt seem at all likely, considering the very good image the Prophet had. Therefore, its more than not likely that this woman detested to marry him, being an enemy of Islam herself. Because either you loved Islam in those days, hated Islam as an enemy would, or you took a neutral stand and waited to see the outcome, if Islam gained supremacy over the others or not.

I think that the woman hated Islam, was an enemy of Islam, and that she screamed because she hated to be a wife of the prophet. What happened next is telling, he told the people to remove her from his sight, because he did not wish to marry any woman who screamed in his face, and didn't desire marriage or to be a part of his household.

Remember, if she were a normal 7th Century woman, she would have at least considered that it is better to live in the home of the Prophet or leader of the Arabs at the time, than to be the slave woman of another person, who might not posess such wealth or would even be a poor man and less than pleasing to look at. I have already discussed why the people agreed that the Prophet Muhammad was no ordinary man, nor was he detestable to the eyes and why he was so much loved and emulated by his companions and even loved by his enemies!

All this is available to anyone to read if they make the effort.
The prophet never harms any woman, or beats them, and that is certainly true with regards any women in the narrations that we have the ability to research in the hadiths, by Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmidhi, and others.

Nor is anyone prevented today from learning what the Muslims know. In fact, if one asks them, they will certainly tell them what the know or what their beliefs are!

                                                                            ********

Briefly I will show how some things are manipulated to appear bad, when in fact there is nothing wrong with what the great Muslims of the past have done, except what has been reportd in teh hadiths, such as when the prophet said, he is free from what Khalid ibn AlWaleed has done, regarding the killing of some people he believed were #apostates or hypocrites, Allah knows best.

IN BRIEF:

- slave women were a test for humans; societies needed to replace the system of slavery with something better and more humane. Islam started to do that and showed the way for others, if they had wanted to emulate the Muslims in this regard. USA didn't for a thousand years after Islam (started to adopt an attitude of freeing slaves and practicing/enforcing better human rights for all people).
- women could buy their freedom like men.
- women had a choice in who they married, much like women today.
- marriage for love isn't the only type of marriage, even today,
etc.
- a woman could claim she was pregnant, and avoid marriage to her captor or who posessed her at the time. In truth, a Muslim is not permitted to marry or have sexual relations with a married or  pregnant  woman, at least until she has her child, or until she has become clean after one menstrual period, respectively.

Definitely the false accusations that Muhammad or any of his followers had sexual intercourse or , God forbid, raped women the first day they were captured is counter to anything ever taught or anything evident in the religious texts! In other words, these charges against Islam are blatant lies!!!

- a woman who runs away and has sexual relations with other men, must be sold even for a pittance (the price of a hair rope)
- chastity and good manners are required of slaves as of other people. But they are not punished as free men or women are punished for adultery with stoning... this is becasue they are not sometimes permitted to marry who they want, if the master does not permit them to marry.
But there are hadiths which show that women did marry men who were not their master, and they were chaste (not permitted to have affairs, nor could the master ever sleep with them).

                                                                                          *

3. The prophet PBUH died of food poisoning that resurfaced and that is what we know from the hadiths. We don't speculate and invent arguments - because that is wrong and also, it is very easy to discover the truth; because millions of people read these hadiths (narrations), athaar (stories which are not hadiths) and other explanations of these. WE KNOW WHAT HAS BEEN SAID ABOUT ALL THESE ISSUES BEFORE. That a Jewish woman tested him, by feeding him poisoned leg of lamb (or shoulder of lamb, I forget which), and that some other of the companions of the prophet even were deathly ill, having eaten from the same meal. THERE IS NO TRUTH TO THE FALSE STATEMENTS ACCUSING AISHA, RA, OR OTHER WIVES OF ATTEMPTING TO KILL THE PROPHET, MAY ALLAH BE PLEASED WITH THEM.
I WONDER SOMETIMES, WHAT THEY WILL MAKE UP NEXT!

NOT ONLY THAT, IT'S LAUGHABLE THAT SOME ATHEISTS AND APOSTATES WROTE IN COMMENTS RECENTLY THAT THEY HOPE YASIR QADHI - LIKE SOME APOSTATES DID OF THEIR OWN FREE WILL - JOINS THE FOLD OF THE EX-MUSLIMS, SO HE CAN "EXPOSE EVERYTHING", BC HE IS EDUCATED ABOUT ISLAM.
BUT PRESUMABLY THEY ARE ALL ALREADY 'VERY EDUCATED' ABOUT ISLAM!!! #LOL DO THEY WANT SOMEONE TO SPEAK FOR THEM, BECAUSE IN ACTUALITY THEY DON'T HAVE THE WORDS OR ENOUGH KNOWLEDGE ABOUT ISLAM TO SUCCESSFULLY COUNTERACT THE ISLAMIC #DAWAH ??

(THEY WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THE TRUTH, SO THEY CAN TRY TO TWIST WHAT WAS REALLY DONE IN THE PAST, OR WHAT MUSLIMS REALLY BELIEVE!)
(I PREFER NOT TO NAME NAMES, BC I DONT WANT TO PROMOTE HATERS ON YOUTUBE) TO BE FRANK, THOUGH, THEY OBVIOUSLY NEVER KNEW ISLAM IN THE FIRST PLACE, AND QUOTE THE WRITINGS OR SAYING OF EXTREMISTS, NOT MAINSTREAM ISLAMIC IDEAS, LIKE THOSE OF THE MUTAZILITES, AND LINKS CAN BE SEEN IN THEIR DESCRIPTIONS (UNDER THEIR VIDEOS).

EVEN IF A MUSLIM IS SINCERE HE CAN MAKE MISTAKES, AND SO WE DON'T CLAIM THAT MUSLIMS HAVE "PERFECT" KNOWLEDGE ABOUT ISLAM OR THE LIFE OF THE PROPHET, PBUH. WE SHOULD NOT SPECULATE OR GUESS, WITHOUT ANY EVIDENCES FOR WHAT WE ARE SAYING AND WE ALWAYS SAY "ALLAH KNOWS BEST" WHEN WE BLOG OR COMMENT, BECAUSE WE KNOW OUR KNOWLEDGE IS VERY LACKING, INADEQUATE, OR AT BEST, WE ARE INCAPABLE OF KNOWING EVERYTHING AND BECAUSE MAYBE MUCH OF THE FORMER KNOWLEDGE HAS ALREADY BEEN LOST.

IT WAS IN THE CONQUEST BY GENGHIS KHAN THAT IN FACT MANY ISLAMIC BOOKS OR WRITINGS WERE DESTROYED. WE KNOW THIS IS TRUE, THEREFORE ALSO HOW MUCH BENEFICIAL KNOWLEDGE OR THE OPINIONS OF SCHOLARS WERE FOREVER LOST, BEFORE THE TIME OF THE GREAT SULTAN MAHMOUD. HE WAS A ROYAL PRINCE, CAPTURED BY REBELS AND SOLD INTO SLAVERY AS A CHILD, LIVING IN EGYPT AND LATER RESTORED TO HIS POSITION OF NOBILITY, WHO FOUGHT THE FEARED OPPRESSORS AND SMASHED GENGHIS KHAN AND HIS TERRIBLE LEGACY OF BRUTAL FORCE AND DESTRUCTION. SETTING FREE THE SOCIETIES AND LANDS UNDER HIS OWN FREE AND PROSPEROUS CONTROL, IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE ONE, KING OF KINGS, AL JALAL. EVEN CHRISTIANS IN MUSLIM LANDS WOULD CRY FOR SUCH A MAN TO SAVE THEM FROM THE OPPRESSIVENESS OF LIFE, LIVING AS THEY WERE UNDER THE HEAVY BURDEN OF TAXES, AS HAPPENED WHEN SULTAN AHMED TOOK CONSTANTINOPLE. IT IS THE POOR AND DESTITUTE, THE HELPLESS 'BEASTS' TOILING UNDER BURDENS OF SICKNESS, DEBT AND SORROWS WROUGHT BY OPPRESSIVE LEADERS AND TYRANTS WHO HAVE ATTESTED TO THE MERCY AND COMPASSION THAT ISLAM BRINGS IN ITS WAKE!!!

IT'S THE LIARS AND SELFISH ONES WHO HATE SOMETHING AS BEAUTIFUL AND BOUNTIOUS AS ISLAM WHEN IT SHINES FORTH IN IT,S TRUE BRILLIANCE.
NO OPPRESSION OR FORCED CONVERSIONS, ONLY LENIENCY, MERCY AND HUMAN COMPASSION WAS THE SIGN OF THESE TRUE BELIEVERS IN ONE TRUE GOD, THE CREATOR OF ALL CREATION.
BUT PLENTY OF THEM ARE SPEAKING OUT AND SAYING VERY STUPID THINGS! THAT'S WHY IT'S VERY EASY FOR MUSLIMS TO EXPOSE THEM, LIKE I WANT ALSO TO DO. Thus, I FEEL IT'S MY RELIGIOUS DUTY AND MY GREATEST HONOR, WHEN I EXPOSE THEIR LIES. #ALHAMDULILLAH

ALL PRAISE IS TO ALLAH. WE THANK ALLAH FOR GUIDING US, AND WE TRY OUR BEST WHEN WE CAN TO EXPOSE THE LIES AND MACHINATIONS OF THE NON BELIEVERS WHO ARE FIGHTING ISLAM IN WORDS OR DEEDS.

I BELIEVE ONLY A COUPLE OF THESE EXAMPLES SUFFICE TO SHOW HOW WRONG PPL ARE WHO CLAIM SUCH THINGS.
IN THE END, WE WILL NOT CONVINCE THOSE WHO DO NOT WANT TO BELIEVE. THEY ARE FREE TO BELIEVE WHAT THEY LIKE. BUT WHEN THEY SAY THE ABOVE MENTIONED OR SIMILAR THINGS, IT IS CLEAR TO US THEY ARE SPEAKING OUT OF HATE AND NOT OUT OF ANY REAL LOVE OR COMPASSION.
AND WHY DO THEY BELIEVE THAT ISLAM IS A DANGER TO THE WORLD? THEY ONLY HATE THAT THERE ARE NEW MUSLIMS EVERY DAY - BECAUSE THEY BELIEVE IN WESTERN IDEAS AND HAVE WESTERN MORALS: THEY THINK
THAT THEY HAVE A RIGHT TO FORCE THEIR MORALITY, LAWS AND BELIEFS ON OTHERS (EG. BELIEVERS)
IN REALITY, IT'S THEY WHO ARE THE OPPRESSORS AND THE ONES WHO WANT TO FIGHT US.

On a high note, I just want to acknowledge the good people out there, fellow human beings who are not haters, who give in kindness and love, charity, or speak a good word, out of a place of natural human goodness and concern.
God bless you today and every day!

Fatwa (religious ruling) Regarding Kissing the Black Stone

Islamqa.info

People have asked about the significance of Muslims kissing or touching the black stone.
This is a general fatwa about what is permitted or what the actions of the Prophet Muhammad, pbuh,
were regarding the permissibility and/or reward for kissing or touching the black stone, or to point at it with one's hand, or touching it with a stick or a cane, and other issues to do with the rituals during the hajj and umrah with regard to the Black Stone and also the Yamani corner.

This is an enlightening reminder and concise fatwa by Sheikh ul Islam Muhammad Salih, of Mecca.
May Allah shower His blessings on the Sheikh and his relatives and all the good people.

I made an error due to forgetfulness, but I corrected that as soon as I realized what the mistake was; the fact that the sins are forgiven is true, but the Stone doesn't remove them from the person, it is the act of submitting to the Creator of the Universe with sincere obedience and submission and asking for forgiveness, by repenting, during the hajj or umrah, and when touching the Black Stone or pointing to it, or if one is able to kiss it, doing that with a pure heart, seeking Allah [SWT]'s mercy.

God, Hitchens, and the Harry Potter stories

Reality is Never an Illusion

A person argued on google said, “One person’s reality is another person’s illusion.”
I said that’s nonsense.

Proof –

You should really have proof for whatever you say, unless of course you’re writing fiction. Even in a fiction story, the reader will only swallow one “unbelievable” or “incredible” idea. (This isn’t my idea, but I had read it somewhere, and the credit is due to whoever said it or teaches it. Probably it is something taught in writing school, too.)

In Harry Potter stories it is that magic is real. If you added other incredible things the viewer or reader must also believe, the story’s plot and twists becomes burdensome or disappointing. The setting and characters, though not real, are part of the story, and prove the main idea, so are not a problem; we know such things don’t exist, but in the story they do, so they enhance the idea about magic being real (in the stories at least).

Superman’s only weakness is “kryptonite” (okay, and maybe Lois Lane, but that’s not an incredible leap of the imagination, or something which takes away from the storyline)

Can you think of other examples?

People can fly, with pixie dust, in Peter Pan. Or, a man shrinks his kids with an invention, in “Honey I shrunk the kids”.

You get the idea.

Even in real life, how many lies can someone swallow, before they have to admit that something is not right? For example, couples fight all the time, especially if one of them is being unfaithful. Exposing infidelity is likely the “straw that [breaks] the camel’s back”, in many relationships.

Defrauding the company, or insider trading, will get one fired, at work, or arrested in the real world; also in movies.

I was really happy when the guy (The Informant) played by one of those famous actors (think he was one of the earlier “brat pack” of the 80s) who was insider trading and claimed to have bi-polar syndrome was imprisoned. The judge didn’t believe that having bi-polar syndrome would cause someone to defraud his company, steal and cheat, or work as an informant for the FBI, lying to them as well as his company (and his wife) also ruining the good reputation of an FBI agent.

Reality is reality, illusion is illusion. There is no in between, either.

********

‘The man of her dreams’

A woman might search for the man of her dreams but she doesn’t know if he really exists.

I watched movie, years ago about a man who finds his true love, only to learn that she is a ghost, and in another one, a woman finds her true love, only to learn that she is dead, or something like that.

********

In the novel by Frederick Forsythe, “The Day Of The Jackal”, he wrote on pp. 25-26, “It occurred to [Rodin] as he trudged back to the humble rooming house that some might think he too was chickening out, disappearing from the threat of kidnap or assassination by the Action Service. He shrugged to himself. Let them think what they wished, the time for lengthy explanations was over.

He lunched off the boarding house Stammkarte, the meal of the day…By mid-afternoon he was gone, bags packed, bill paid, departed on a lonely mission to find a man, or more precisely a type of man, whom he did not know existed.”

Rodin wants an assassin, but for his plan to work, the man can’t be just anyone. His mission is so important to him he doesn’t include anyone else or even care what others think. But he believes he will be successful. Whether or not he will find a perfect assassin or ‘the perfect man for the job” is not at all certain, except we know that man is already boarding a plane, on p. 26, in the following paragraph. In books, if you have patience, everything will be revealed. Sometimes, in life that is also possible. At least, many people believe they know everything, or the most important things.

********

When Allah wanted a prophet, He chose from the best type in the era or place He knew that person would be victorious, or who He wanted to single out for this specific favor and honor. Not all the prophets’ missions were highly successful, but they were good men, the right man, and it was only the lack of good people they sought, calling to the true religion, who were hard to find. Some prophets had many followers, Musa, A.S. did, others had few, or even none. Muhammad, pbuh, said he would have the most followers on the Day of Judgment. It appears that prophecy is coming to bear fruit, and God knows best.

I realize it is annoying to many people that religious folks think they know it all. Well, they don’t know everything do they? No. But maybe many of them have a pretty good idea of what reality is? Since this isn’t something any one can prove with an easy litmus test, that’s why belief in God is called “faith”. But it takes real study to be firm in one’s belief or convinced of one religion’s truth over the others.

Many Jehovah’s Witnesses are leaving because they have learned unsettling things about their religions’ teachings or other things. There are channels on YouTube devoted to the Jehovah’s Witnesses or exposing wrongs in the Witnesses’ teachings or community.

Debating God:

In the video debate between Christopher Hitchens, the late, and William Lain Craig, Hitchens doesn’t want to say he’s an atheist, because he knows the burden of proof will be on him, to prove that God doesn’t exist, just as the burden of proof is on William Lain Craig to give “sufficient” evidence that God does exist.

In the subbing for the video I watched, which is on YouTube, and I added to a few of my playlists, like “Debunk This”, Hitchens says that Lain Craig’s proofs must be “magnificent”, but that isn’t true.

By a simple equation we know why, “Atheism = true”, “Theism = false”, and “Theism = true”, “Atheism = false”. Both have to prove their point sufficiently, in order to win.

Hitchens hems and haws, before he finally agrees to the statement “I am an atheist” because if he says he is only an “agnostic” he cannot argue strongly, if at all, for the side “God doesn’t exist”. He must argue against God, so he must say without hesitation (which proves harder for him than one might have thought, considering this is “The Hitch”. Anyway, he can’t do it with any great success and WLC appears to win the debate.

Many atheists thumb down the video, about one third of that thumb up the video, but as one comment points out, “thumbs down don’t prove that God doesn’t exist”, any more than Hitchens did.

Atheists and also agnostics, argue against God with logical fallacies, like “I can’t see or touch God” so He doesn’t exist, or “since cultures all over the world believe in God and their stories don’t make sense, or their beliefs don’t make sense, so God isn’t real”.

If I die tomorrow, and in one hundred years there is no record of my having been born or died, and no one remembers me or even heard of me, and no internet search even will show that I was ever here, does that mean I never existed? No.

The video gives a much better explanation of what happens in the debate, and I highly recommend others to watch it who are interested in “the God debate”.

God, Houdini & JFK

Q/A

Someone asks, “If Allah disappears would we know?”

I wish the person would have worded the question differently, but then I think maybe he is a kid.

Did Houdini disappear or make a woman disappear? Many people believed Houdini had disappeared, or had accomplished many of his other death-defying feats, by some “magical” trick; in fact he was an escape artist, and that is how he was billed. But of course naïve people and children will believe almost anything, and whether they thought Houdini was a mere illusionist or artist or a “real” magician they flocked to his shows because he was entertaining.

If a tree falls in the forest does anybody hear, is a question in a similar vein, or with a similar problem. The question is asked buy Bruce Cockburn in one of his songs but before that others (a poet, like Keats, or whoever it was) asked this and similar posers are well known.

Is the wording the best wording?

If a tree or anything falls, presumably someone will hear, whether a tiny or large creature, because they are equipped with excellent hearing, or because they are in close proximity to the falling tree. Will they know that it is a tree falling? Maybe not. It is always easier to know what event has occurred when one has the use of more than one sense, e.g. seeing, hearing, touching, to know. Many on 911, at the buildings which ‘fell’, reported hearing “explosions”, for example.

Someone might hear a tree falling, and assumes it is a tree, but for sure, he won’t know unless he can verify that’s what it was. If I hear a glass break in another room, I might believe my son has just broken a drinking glass because that happens sometimes, and it is my experience. But if the sound is more like a bottle of jam, I might be able to guess that. I will know once I have investigated, and given my son a stern look for again breaking something I wish he wouldn’t have, especially because I worry he might get hurt and also because I have to clean up after him. Other people have discussed this; how experience serves to give us a level of certainty, although it isn’t always the best way to know things. Our senses and experience can also be used against us, so that we think we have seen something, when in fact we haven’t. We might believe an event is similar to what has happened in the past, only to learn that we have been conned.

Some criminals have used their knowledge of human psychology or fabricated relationships to rob others of their wealth or to get them to help commit crimes, while the dupes don’t even realize. Sometimes, innocent people who have been used by professional criminals or psychopaths are convinced that that person is a good person and that the police are wrong about him/her. It takes a lot of hard evidence to convince someone in such a situation that s/he doesn’t really know that person at all, and that they have been used.

“Fooled once, shame on you, fooled twice, shame on me” or something like that, is good to heed. It is better if people don’t allow themselves to be carried away by feelings which might get them into real trouble. Even the fact that many girls get pregnant, is an example which also shows the sometimes avoidable consequences of trusting others implicitly, or of wishful thinking. People would like to believe that the world is good and that evil is not as common, but the reality is that a lot of evil exists, and also, even if we can’t call a guy who accidentally gets a girl pregnant “evil” (even purposely, though that would be very selfish of him and bad - it isn’t the end of the world, except the girl might perceive it as that, and maybe do something she would later regret, or hurt herself, which makes people hate the guy more, even though he is only partly responsible for the pregnancy but not for graver consequences after that.)

To get back to the main discussion, some questions are riddles which don’t really lend themselves to an answer.

To answer the question, the way that serves my purpose, I would say, firstly, in revelation, we have not read (probably in no text, is this subject ever brought up, that God disappeared) that God/Allah “disappeared”. I think the person asking the question is a child, or believes that I can’t answer the question (because it assumes about God something which isn’t true).

Secondly, in revelation, specifically the Quran, God/Allah tells us that “there is nothing like unto Him”. This is how we speak to the Christians about Allah and that He doesn’t need a son, nor want a son, and it isn’t befitting Allah to have a son. The Quran says if Allah had wanted a son, He could have chosen one from the creation (as opposed to creating Jesus and ‘adopting’ him as a son, which is also an idea with roots in Greek or Roman or pagan history or writings). The fact that Muslims don’t worship the prophet Muhammad, and Jews, (according to most people today), don’t worship any human being, is an indication that in the monotheistic religions, there is a stronger sense that God/Allah is above having a son or appointing anyone as his successor, or above having rivals, and so on. Even the notion that some Christians have that the devil “created evil” or that the devil is “ruling” this world, are not based on a true belief in God or show an incomplete belief and trust in God. Such ideas rather seem to be rooted in fear of the devil and fear of evil, and reveal many peoples’ belief that the world is essentially evil.

But as one scholar points out in a video I saw on an Islamic channel recently, the devil isn’t powerful but can only whisper evil ideas, which people then choose to act on, in their weakness or because they are not good (anyway).

“God Can Do Anything”

Lastly, Allah/God, can do anything, but there are things which He doesn’t do. That is the way most scholars have answered questions like this. Can Allah “disappear” or “appear” or “disappear and reappear”, isn’t about reality, but is about the questioner’s ignorance. This question does have an answer, which is as I just explained that it isn’t befitting Allah’s majesty, to do such things (which have no purpose or reason). There is no reason for Allah to appear to the creation, though people often wish He would (it isn’t for slaves of Allah (the creatures or the creation) to tell Allah what to do, or demand Allah do something, but Allah does what He wills. He is the best disposer of affairs, His command is just, His will is supreme, and He is the Lord of the worlds).

People complain that Allah doesn’t reveal Himself, but this is false. Allah has sent many prophets throughout the ages (to reveal His existence) to us. Allah’s will is revealed to us in the revelation, so that we can know and love Him. Despite the growing number of atheists, there are also a growing number of people who call themselves Muslims.

Allah tells us, that He is “the First” and “the Last”. Allah isn’t going to disappear, in other words. Allah forever is, has been and will be, and He is Most High, Most Great. Allah has 99 names (plus one) names we know, and other names which He knows, which we don’t know. Allah’s attributes describe Him, and these we also can read about in Islamic texts. It isn’t permissible for a person to name himself with Allah’s names, but he can name himself (or name his children) with the slave prefixing the names of Allah e.g. Abdu Rahman, the slave of the Most Merciful, or Abdullah, the slave of Allah. Allah’s attributes are also uniquely His, but it is permissible to say that someone possesses a quality of mercy or a quality of generosity, but only Allah is the Most Merciful, or The Self Sufficient, (Ghani prefixed by al) because only He is truly Self Sufficient. He is The Sustainer, and we are His slaves, who require his sustenance or succor (physical or spiritual).

Proof of God

That some people continually rail against religion and Islam in particular, doesn’t mean that they are right. The proof of God’s existence is all around, and so are proofs in the revelations. Even the Bible foretold the coming of a prophet (not a spirit or ghost, but a human being) after Jesus, A.S., whose name means “the praised one”. Ahmed is the name given in the bible, which is a name for Muhammad (an Arabic name, which also signifies the Prophet, SAWS, accurately) in the Bible, translated from the original word. In the context it was revealed, it is obvious that another Messenger of God is meant. E.g. “the comforter”.

The Grain of Truth

The verse doesn’t describe a spirit or an angel (e.g. Gabriel) because it goes onto say, that “the comforter” will not come until Jesus, A.S., goes away. Jesus describes the “comforter” as someone who will “teach you all things” (sorry if the translation isn’t spot on). The reason God sent human beings as Messengers rather than angels, is that human beings are better able to teach us and also live among us, which makes them perfect examples for us, as opposed to angels who do not understand us, nor know how human beings feel or cannot perceive our humanity the way another person can. Also, if Allah had sent angels to all the people, instead of just to a select few (Abraham, Muhammad and the other Messenger Prophets or sometimes showed obvious signs to some people only), means that we would have already been responsible for our disobedience, and there wouldn’t be much room for humanity to make mistakes or to learn from them. If that was the case, most of humanity would give excuses for their disobedience. That many human Messengers have brought the message of God’s oneness and the monotheistic creed and excelled in worshipping God, and that the great world religions all preach emphatically the existence of God, proves that human beings are created to worship Him. God is Merciful, which is why He sent guidance and books to us. If He had created us without sending us guidance, books or prophets and messengers, then we would think that Allah didn’t intend for us to know Him, or we would think that we have no reason to seek to worship God and love Him or even reason to behave morally.

Humans are Moral Creatures

People behave morally largely because they have been raised that way, and parents generally want children who are obedient, truthful, trustworthy and successful. If children are not raised with “morals” then they will definitely make many more mistakes, errors in judgment, cause problems, even become bad people, or commit crimes and worse. Many modern parents don’t raise their children to worship God or to have belief in a creator, but that doesn’t mean that they are being fair to their children to do so, or that this is real freedom. Many non-believers merely choose to teach their children what they themselves believe, not because it is right, but because they don’t have a religion and don’t want to.

Pagan Arabs Rejection of God Almighty

The ancient people didn’t believe in God because they saw angels, but they saw miraculous things and even angels, because they were in the presence of the prophet(s). Later on, for example, after the revelation had stopped, it wasn’t ever reported (thereafter) that the Muslims saw angel Gabriel (A.S). It was during the process of revelation that they (at least once, is mentioned) saw “a man whose clothing was exceedingly white” and “hair was exceedingly black” and “no signs of travel appeared on him” and no one knew him (in other words, he just appeared). It was the Prophet who informed them that it had been the angel Gabriel (A.S).

Non-believers, such as the pagan Arabs, also experienced some amazing or inexplicable things, but refused to accept the prophet Muhammad’s explanations for such things or events because they refused belief in Muhammad’s message, they refused belief in one God, preferring their hundreds of idols, and they chose to believe that other causes (such as magic or poetry, or even evil spirits) could explain away anything they saw, heard or experienced. They said the Quran was magic, they said the Prophet was a madman or afflicted by an evil spirit, and that the experiences that they or others had, were products of the mind, imagination, spirits, etc. For example, one man trying to kill the Prophet, SAWS, chased after him on a riding animal (camel or horse, I forget which) and continually stumbled when he reached the Prophet, SAWS, until he gave up. There was no common explanation for why the animal refused or was unable to continue the journey – maybe he explained it away, or maybe he became Muslim later (I can’t recall the ending, but it is in the hadiths) Another example, is when the non-believers saw a fire with wings coming out, and thought I guess, that it was some kind of “scary vision”, when they tried to approach the Prophet to harm him. At times, they used to abuse the prophet, physically and verbally, but when they attempted to assassinate him, their attempts (all) failed.

Assassination of Muhammad, pbuh, fails multiple times

The last assassination attempt was when Muhammad, SAWS, was returning from a battle, by a mountain pass, to Mecca. Even then, though there were twelve (or seven to a dozen) people in ambush for him, and only the holy Prophet, SAWS, and one other person with him, the attempt was unsuccessful. Compare this to how an assassination on several American presidents’ despite their security, have been successful, JFK, Robert Kennedy (senator, not President), Abraham Lincoln, before them. And maybe, Daniel Johnson (my history is not great on American presidents). Pope John Paul was also shot, before the bullet proof ride? Though some of these might have been actual inside jobs, or plots, and not done by a crazy person, it still proves that it’s possible to assassinate a person despite vigilance by his body guards and security. And actually, even physical evidence or other evidence isn’t conclusive, and it is hard to prove one way or another – what has really happened. This is why conspiracy theories abound.

Sometimes leaders assassinate their subordinates or enemies, but it is much harder to assassinate a public figure today without leaving some traces of evidence or without a conspiracy theory arising which seems to explain at least some of what happened with some accuracy.

Understanding the Prophet (SAWS)

“Goodness (rightness) is good morality; and sin (misdeed) is what embarrasses you (i.e. you are not comfortable within yourself) and you hate it to be known by others” (Muslim, 15/2553)

The question today - can we really judge people by everything that they or others did in the past? When ancient peoples did things, some of the things they might have been ashamed of, and others they were not ashamed of; should we as people coming much later, with a very different culture and ideas judge those former peoples according to our modern beliefs or standards? I don’t believe we should.

Am I saying this to defend some of the former people’s actions? Perhaps; I prefer to think we can look at ancient cultures and societies without judging them. For what is it about their cultures that we dislike, or disapprove of that is necessary to debate today?

Slavery is all but gone and we can hope the final remnants of slavery will be eradicated but who knows? Women’s rights are not yet equal across the nations nor even practiced all across the board in any modern nation. We can see there are strata where women are very blessed or free, vs. others where they are very poor, or degraded. There is a “glass ceiling” even in corporate boardrooms, or corporations today, which women have not always been able to break through. It takes a very special, intelligent or strong woman to do so. The rest are not able to break through that invisible, unspoken barrier which favors men. The most poverty-stricken people in America are elderly women. It’s the same all over the world.

Everyone accepts the Universal Declaration of Human Rights; no one disputes the rights of children or the rights of women or minorities. All nations agree to the broad categories of human rights; women, children, minorities, freedom of conscience, freedom of religion, freedom from torture, etc.

I mention the above saying of Muhammad, pbuh, to show that there was a concept of “morality” in ancient Arabia. Of course, it evolved once Islam was introduced into the culture and it changed the religion, culture, cultural norms, and effectively created new ideals and examined cultural practices, etc. which were wrong, eliminated or corrected many of the cultural and religious practices, as well explaining what was “sinful” versus what was “virtuous”. Ethics and morals were important to earlier peoples as they are important to societies now.

“Fear Allah wherever you are, follow a bad deed with a good deed as it erases it, and deal with people with high ethics”. (Tirmithi – 1987 & Ahmed 5/153)

Some of the ideals which were noble, such as chivalry, bravery, honesty, are still ideals which people today agree are positive. Other ideals (or ideas), such as male chauvinism, were fought or became unacceptable. People learned that men and women are equal and share the same basic humanity and rights.

“Oh people, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under God’s trust and with His permission. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers”.

- From Muhammad’s farewell sermon

It was the Prophet’s youngest wife, Aisha, who gave Muslims then and all to follow, the important examples of what was required of Muslim men, regards their wives, families, and society.

Muhammad taught, “Women are the twin halves of men”.

Michael Hart, a writer defended his choice of Muhammad, to lead the list of the top 100 in history, “My choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the world’s most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular levels” (From the book, “The 100, A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History”)

We can say here that, perhaps Mr. Hart didn’t think Muhammad was the most pious person, and preferred Jesus to Muhammad, but he ranked Jesus second. Or we could speculate that maybe there were others on the list, who though not ranked first, were more self-sacrificing (I am saying this, only to be partial, though I cannot say that I am not really partial about Muhammad, pbuh, as he is the most near to perfection of all Allah’s creatures, nonetheless, I ask others to think about their choice of the most “perfect” human and the reasons they would pick that person.)

Christians will say Jesus was better than Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah unto both of the holy Messengers of God, but I do not distinguish between them or any of the Prophets, for Allah told us, they are “brothers”. Islam speaks about five strong prophets, Abraham, Noah, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah unto all of them. There were many others we don’t know by name, and others mentioned by name in the Quran as well as some pious individuals or Saints, including the Mother of Jesus, Maryam (Mary mother of Christ (the Messiah)), may Allah be pleased with her.

The best person, therefore is not only someone who Allah had spoken to, or one who Allah had created with His own hands, or one who he had given the power to heal the blind and lepers or to raise the dead, nor one who was “his special friend”, as Abraham, nor one who He forgave all his sins, Muhammad, or gave him a miracle that would be for all humanity, or the final message, peace and blessings be unto them.

We don’t distinguish between the prophets, and there is no need. Allah sent these Prophets and Messengers to guide people in different times and different places. Therefore, they all were chosen slaves of Allah and the most obedient, praiseworthy and blessed of all the people.

In a narration about the ascension of Muhammad into heaven, Moses says that he had killed a person and send Muhammad to another; Jesus, merely tells Muhammad to go to another of the Prophets of God, Noah says, he had asked Allah something for which he had no right, and so on. We see from many of the stories or narrations that the Prophets of Allah were human beings whom Allah favored from his creation. He says about human fallibility, that if humans did not sin He would have created another creation that would sin, so that they would seek His forgiveness, because Allah, Most High, likes to hear His slaves pleading with Him, and He likes to forgive sins. Allah, azawajal, did not create men to be perfect, but to seek His forgiveness.

People often misunderstand religion. It is the Christians who are most close to the Muslims in their beliefs, though they raised Jesus to a status above his human status, when they said he is the son of Allah. Despite this invention, they believe in the need for repentance. The idea of repentance, and that God would forgive our sins is central to both Christianity and Islam; in Islam the most important belief or pillar of faith being the Oneness of God, and the worship of One God. This is why polytheism or associating others with Allah is called the greatest sin (Shirk al Kabir). Shirk, or joining partners with Allah is the only sin which Allah will not forgive, for which people remain forever in Hell. If it was not for that, they would all be Muslims. The Jews believe that they are “the Children of God” or His “chosen people” a concept foreign both to Islam and Christianity. It is in fact a racist idea which permits many heinous crimes in the name of their religion (in reality they kill and occupy for “Zionism” and Zion.)

Therefore, we do not say that the Prophets were perfectly sinless, but we believe that Allah guided them to the best forms of worship, the best supplications and prayers, the best ideals, and the best moral code and superior moral conduct. As a result of their good deeds and prayers, Allah forgave the Prophets their mistakes. It is famously recorded that Prophet Muhammad used to seek Allah’s forgiveness 70 times a day.

Muhammad, pbuh, was sent first and foremost to his own people, the ancient Arabs. But because Islam rooted out racism and enjoined many more of the modern ideals we take for granted, it is rightly called a universal religion.

Therefore, you will hear Muslims say that Islam is a religion for all time and place. (It is generally understood as such.) Where I might differ with some Muslims is that Islam is certainly compatible with today’s modern ideals. Some Muslims believe that Islam must “reform”; they don’t understand that Islam already is capable of meeting the challenges of social reform without the religion needing reform or improvement.

Sometimes what people will complain about are not cultural or religious ideals which need fixing, but moral values which they believe are now outdated. If we listen to such people, we would accept many evils in the name of freedom or modernity.

Lastly, the name Muhammad means in Arabic, “the person who is highly, frequently and repeatedly praised for his good deeds. Therefore, he is a praiseworthy person.”(P. 3, Muhammad, Who Is He? A pocket guide, produced by Discover Islam Center, 2012)

The fact that one is a praiseworthy person, or even a Prophet and Messenger of Allah, doesn’t affect his status as a human being, and this means that as other people he goes through trials, is subject to worries and misgivings, stumbles and falls, even. It is true that Prophet Moses had in his ignorance, killed a man, and Prophet Yunus (Jonah) had sought to run away from his Prophetic mission despairing of the peoples’ conversion to his religion, Islam. (Islam is the universal religion and was the religion of all the previous prophets and messengers of God.) It is also true that the Prophets, like all people, used to ask for forgiveness of Allah. They did not believe themselves free from error, responsibilities or worry. In fact, they prayed often, repented often, performed more good deeds seeking Allah’s pleasure, to show their grateful attitude to Allah for the many blessings which He bestowed upon them. They also relied on Allah to help them perform the task He set out for them to do; preaching the Oneness of God, Allah, and establishing a community of believers, who would then call others to Islam.

Therefore, we believe that Islam is the universal religion, and that all the Prophets or Messengers of Allah called to the worship of Allah.

Statements about Muhammad, pbuh:

“Whoever saw him unexpectedly would admire and revere him. And whoever socialized or associated with him familiarly, loved him. He was gentle by nature. He was neither coarse nor disdainful of anyone.”(P. 15, Ibid).

He told his friends, “I am a guarantor for a house at the outskirt of the Paradise for those who quit arguing even if they were right and I am a guarantor for a house in the middle of Paradise for those who quit lying even if they were kidding and I am a guarantor for a house in the highest part in the Paradise for those who behave with good manners.” (Sahih Abu Dawood)

Muhammad, pbuh, never found fault or overpraised others, nor got angry for his own sake. He did not speak unnecessarily, nor accept (an) other’s(s’) lauding his praises. He was unfailingly cheerful. But if he was angry when Allah’s law was violated, then his face would express strong emotion and displeasure. (Pp. 14-15, Muhammad, Who Is He?, 2012.)

“Muhammad never got angry for his own sake” (P. 15, Ibid)

Concluding remarks:

As it is not possible for any person to remove himself or disassociate himself from his own time, or the age into which he was born, nor his place; just as the bronze age man could not have imagined electricity, nor invented glass nor filaments for lights, it is not probable that men of Muhammad’s time would have changed everything around them; no more than what they were capable in a quarter of a century, nor that the next generation of Muslims which followed or generations for the next few centuries could have known or understood more than the ethical questions which Islam confronted. Many other social norms; ‘pithy’ preferences, which may or may not be regarded as ‘backwards’, inhumane, or injustice today, were not all questioned (neither eradicated nor once and for all banned) in the early Islamic Empire; nor would those people be responsible for our misguidance, just we are not responsible for the misguidance of theirs. Only Allah is the judge, and that is what all people can at least agree on, who believe in God and fear Him. It is enough to say that the Muslims have definitely evolved. Islam did that. Islam teaches, “There is neither harm nor reciprocating harm” a general ethos, which can be applied to any situation; any people can use it, it is workable anywhere.

It is recorded, that Aisha (RA) once said, “If alcohol had been banned (forthwith) the Arabs in Muhammad’s time would not have become Muslims” (although I am paraphrasing) In fact, during one of the earlier reigning Russian Czar’s time, he refused Islam on the very same pretext. In fact, it was not only a pretext, he must have felt it impossible to give up the freedom to drink alcohol, because that was one of their (Russians) lives’ greatest pleasures (or an addiction); then the Czar accepted Christianity, and since then, the religion even today, in some of the former Russian Empire has been one form or other of Christianity. Of course Islam also invaded (they tried to peacefully preach Islam and were challenged) later and took root; in the Bikhar region (e.g. Uzbekistan) also Chechnya, the Ukraine, etc.

I quote Yusuf Estes who said, “…not worshipping the Prophets, not worshipping the Messengers, putting them in a higher (sic) status saying only good about them.” Or what is often said, we say, not exaggerating their status beyond their human capacity for good and evil. I ask, “Who doesn’t sin?” The bible says, Jesus said, “He who has not sinned, shall cast the first stone”. Everyone has sinned, including the Holy messengers of Allah. We say they are holy, meaning they were the most holy of humans, but they were not perfect. The Catholics call their priests “holy”, too. It means that they think they are better than everyone else, not that they are perfect. It means that they believe there is a way to God through those people. Maybe, they can forgive us? That’s what the Catholics believe about their priests, that they can forgive them their sins. On the other hand, in Islam people go directly to God; Muslims pray for forgiveness, which also, all others do, who believe in God, but Muslims are sure that they never associate others with God, such as another human being. There is no priest class in Islam; no one can forgive sins for us; only God can forgive us. Forgiveness is easier than one might think, just pray sincerely to be forgiven and never do the sin again; that’s called “repentance” and it’s the only way to get forgiveness. God already knows what you did...you don’t have to tell another living soul, or breath a word of your sin, because that is not going to make you feel any better, especially if you believe that God won’t forgive you. You have to believe that God is the forgiver of sin, the Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Allah said, “I am what my slave thinks I am”, which means, if you believe Allah is forgiving, He will be. If you think Allah is generous, He will be. Etc.
