What is the GCC
As if to answer a question on “You want to be a billionaire”, what is the GCC is my answer, the Question is “It’s not an Arab monarchs club”.
Also, on another note, I noticed a short series of comments, which I have stored (always on my computer in bitmaps), charity which Bahrain offered in February to its citizens, as if to align it with the other monarchs at the same time, who thought that by bribes, they could avoid being “arrested”, removed from their positions as head of government, and (avoid) suffer questioning (which caused Hosni Mubarak a heart attack).
Muammar Ghadafy, similarly often tends to offer cash back, for the toughness of his government’s policies to try to squelch unrest, which never seemed to happen in Libya anyway - until February this year, or shortly thereafter. Now it’s all out war, no more trying to buy the silence of the citizenry, who have apparently had enough and may prove formidable foes.
How glad I was to hear that the West will not win the war… tell it to the in-laws.
So, cash back, isn’t something that is new, it’s been the policy, or unofficial attempts to afford the Bahrainis and Libyans more lining for their pocket, while they try to figure out exactly what life is all about.
If the GCC is like a club, then the regular people in the GCC are like dumbwaiters. They have a purpose in life, they just don’t know it.
