Muslims don't all have to believe that the Moon splitting has already happened, so if you're not sure, don't worry, it isn't detrimental to your belief in God.

see the photo by NASA which some think proves that the moon was split, there might also be a link on that post to an article that says why some people believe (other than a photo) why the moon has already been split during the Prophet Muhammad's time, pbuh.
